March 26, 2014 Malama Manoa general membership meeting, public invited!   “MELTING MANOA” Beautiful valley. Beautiful trees. Beautiful waterfalls. And it’s melting. Why? See what’s behind it. Malama Manoa will present a slideshow on erosion in Oahu’s watersheds, focusing on Manoa Valley. What does it look like? What causes it? What impact does it have? How can we help it?  Karen Ah Mai, Executive Director of the Ala Wai Watershed Association, will present a slide show illustrating the topic at the Manoa Library, Community Room at 6 PM.  Light refreshments provided.
